Souly Dog strives to provide services that will improve your dog's welfare,
and enhance the relationship between you and your dog.
Souly Dog believes that every dog deserves an opportunity to just "be a dog". Sniffing, scavenging, and digging, are only a few of the natural behaviors that aren't always compatible with our human-centered world. Souly Wild is a 2+ acre, fully fenced, private dog park, that is dedicated to providing dogs with freedom, enrichment, and permission to do the "forbidden".
Puppy Life Skills
Puppies depend on us to teach them the skills they need to live successfully in our world. Positive socialization and learning during puppyhood will help your puppy develop into an emotionally and behaviorally healthy adult.

Souly Dog offers private coaching for new puppy families, as well as group puppy classes for clients of North Paw Animal Hospital in Durham, NC.
Souly Out & About
Join us for a Souly Out & About class, where we work collaboratively with our dogs in various environments. We meet at local parks and pet-friendly locations in Durham and surrounding areas. Exercises may include loose leash walking, greeting or passing other dogs and people, or simply just helping our dogs find peace and calm amid distractions.
Intro to Cooperative Care
Veterinary and grooming procedures are a regular part of our dogs' lives, but sadly, they can cause a great deal of fear, anxiety and stress. Using Cooperative Care techniques empowers our dogs to be willing participants in their own care. Giving dogs more control by allowing them to communicate when they are ready to start or stop a procedure, helps them build the confidence to become a cooperative partner.
Deaf Dogs

As a mom to three deaf Australian Cattle Dogs and a deaf and vision-impaired Aussie mix, Ann has a special place in her heart for deaf dogs. While training a deaf dog is no harder than training a hearing dog, Souly Dog wants to help deaf dog families gain the skills to strengthen their communication and relationships.
